Roadmap

What we're building

We ship every week. Priorities shift based on what our customers tell us. No dates, no “coming soon” badges. If it's not here yet, we're probably already thinking about it.

Building now

Active this sprint.

  • Text (SMS) appointment reminders

Reminders are email today. Text reminders are built and in the last step before we switch them on (the carrier registration every platform has to clear). US first, more regions to follow.

Next up

Designed and queued.

  • Instagram on your website, live

The website builder already embeds posts you paste in. Next: pick posts from your feed and show them, instead of copying URLs one at a time.

  • More payroll formats

Xero Payroll, Gusto, and others as our customer base shows us which to add. The Payroll hand-off page already ships Generic and Talenox CSVs.

Considering

Earlier-stage thinking. We’d love to talk if any of these is a ‘yes please.’

  • Native admin mobile app

A native iOS and Android app for the salon admin side. The web admin is now solid on phones and tablets, and the public booking page has always been mobile-first; a native app is the next step for owners and front desk on the go.

  • Native payroll, region by region

Run payroll without leaving Flowesce, with the partner that handles your region's tax filings under the hood (Talenox in Singapore, Check in the US, PayFit in the UK, others as the customer base shows us where to build first).

  • WhatsApp reminders

For the markets where WhatsApp, not text, is how clients expect to hear from you. A bigger project than SMS (business verification), so it follows.

  • Two-way Google Calendar sync

Push and pull, with conflict detection. One-way sync (Flowesce to your calendar) already ships.

  • An AI helper for your numbers

Ask plain-English questions about your books and reports and get a straight answer. Early thinking; a planning session is on the calendar.

  • Forms Tier 2: drag-and-drop builder

A visual drag-and-drop form builder and triggers beyond booking-confirmation (visit anniversary, win-back, send to all new clients). File upload and conditional fields already shipped.

  • QuickBooks Online and Xero hand-off

A clean export your accountant can drop in once a quarter. On the list if the audience asking for it grows.

Not on the list

A few things we've explicitly decided NOT to build, so you can plan accordingly:

  • A general ledger. We're not becoming QuickBooks. We're becoming the booking + operations layer that means you only open QuickBooks twice a year, not weekly.
  • Bank reconciliation / bank feeds. Same reason. We pair with accounting tools instead.
  • Our own payroll engine from scratch. Massive regulatory surface per jurisdiction. Either we hand off cleanly to your existing provider, or we integrate with a regional payroll partner who owns the tax math and filings. Never both, never neither, never ours from scratch.
  • Two-way QuickBooks Online sync. Too brittle. CSV export and receipt PDFs cover the use case for most salons.
